- Pep lub Si 'Q igirgl 2 s 1 1 The Pep Club is made up of a group of young people who are trying to spread school spirit! They have done much under the direction of their sponsor, Tom Wilson, to create a pride in our team and athletes and im- prove the sportsmanship of everyone. 5 T Ribbons have been sold supporting our Basketball and Wres- tling teams this year. The Pep Club has sponsored many extra-curricular activities. A few things they sponsored are, a spring carnival, and a dance with the theme, '4When I'm 647 All in all, everyone feels they've done a good job. 1 s The Pep club, with the aid of Mr. Wilson, add enthusiasm to the student body. l We proudly present the PEP CLUB! Officers this year are, Valerie Keiser-Pres., Joan Gardner-V. Pres., Sandy Grant-Reporter, Sherri Mc- Nulty-Tres., and Mary Surgenor-Sec.

Seated: Eldon Eash-Sec., John Torok-Tres., Louis Schmidt, Kris Gray-V. P., Randy Down-Pres. Kneeling: Jerry Janiga, Marshall Miller, Ed Gerdel, Charles Guidot. John Torok works on his radio. Sponsored by Mr. Welton Chamberlain, the Radio Club has this year been very successful. The purpose of the Radio Club is to encourage a greater number of students to engage in the hobby of radio. The Pinckney High School Radio Club offers young men an op- portunity to study radio theory operation and Morse code. The members are expected to qualify for the F.C.C. li- cense, Which permits one to own and operate an amateur radio station. The club, this year, traveled on a field trip and their Demonstration Day during Michigan Week was a big suc- cess.
