Librar Stajjf The student librarians who work in our library, volunteer their time in order to make the library a more smooth running place. Though the library aides have no formal meetings, it seems as if they are always organized, and ready to help a student. This year, Mrs. Wolf, the sponsor, and the stu- dent librarians took a trip to Xerox, University Microfilms, and they attended a SLAAM workshop in the spring. The club sponsored the Paperback Bookstore, located in the library. we Amd The girls Working in the office not only learn practical experience, such as typing, filing, re- cording, and reporting, but they also learn how to meet and talk to people. They represent the school in the sense that they meet the public first at the office. They are neatly dressed, and their smiles help keep the office running smoothly. Their basic duty is to help Mrs. Janowski with the simpler tasks. Truly, they are an efficient service to others. The people enrolled in this class, and their teacher, Mrs. Sue Os- burn, have taken on the task of putting out a school news- paper. The Pacemaker supplies the students with news of school activities, both past and present. Through the paper, even those students who are not directly involved with the paper, can voice their opinions, and make others aware of them. This year, the staff published a Senior Book, created to summarize all the acitivities of the seniors, throughout their four years of high school. The Pacemaker has kept us well-informed.
