O School spirit is something special-it can be seen, 0' felt, and experienced by anyone and everyone! Those people most closely associated with it are a group of girls known as cheerleaders. Their job is very exciting and full of fun, but it is also very de- manding of their time, talent, and energy. A cheer- leaderis main role is to try to instill in the student body a certain pride, loyalty, and spirit for their team and school. The task can be relatively easy when victories are plentiful, but it takes a nspecialw kind of student body to keep supporting a team that is experiencing an unsuccessful season. Pinckney High School has been praised for its spirit and good sportsmanship-We are all very proud of this reputation! A special Nthank-youi' belongs to the seventeen young ladies who have helped pro- mote and g'lead this spirit and enthusiasm-the CHEERLEADERS of PINCKNEY HIGH! H - J.V. Cheerleaders, Ctop to bottomjz Cheryl Reck, Jane Beasley, Penny Gouch er, Peg Armstrong, Mary Higgins, Kelly Wagoner. Freshman Cheerleaders ftoplz Kathy Gutshall, Cindy Meyers, Lorri McNulty, Cbottomjz Ann Rogers, and Ann Williams.
