if-S5e . .. Coach Coughlin gives pointers to a player. Touchdown This year, the Junior Varsity Foot- ball team had two wins, over Stock- bridge and Bath, and one tie with Williamston. All the men on the team were dedi- cated and prepared to sacrifice for each other. They showed much hard work and they had the will to win, even though there were several injuries The type of football these young men played indicates there will be more wins in the next few years. Coaches Nurnberger and Coughlin think that the J .V. is a future football team. As We look back on the statistics of the 1970 Varsity Basketball season, We can say We've improved over the years. Our victories are attributed to the co-operation, hard work, and the dili- gence of every man on the team, in- cluding Coach Lincoln. His competent leadership and guidance led us on to these victories. Although We Will be losing seniors, Bill Reck and Chuck Lindsay, the years ahead can only get better.
