coivnvlANolNc oFFicEn COMMANDER Jim J. Malloy UNITED STATES NAVY Commander Jim Mallo is a 1986 graduate of the United States Naval Academy. CDR Malloy's3Gnitial operational assignment was in USS DEYO QDD 9891 as Fire Control and Strike Officer. In addition, he served as the Combat Systems Officer in USS FAHRION QFFG 223, and he yvas assigned as the Combat Systems Department Head in the commissioning crew- a Plank Ovvner- in USS BENFOLD QDDG 651. Most recently, CDR Malloy commanded the mine hunter USS FALCON QMHC 59l from 1999 to 2001. Ashore, CDR Malloy has served as Aide and FLag Secretary to the Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command in Manama, Bahrain, and as Navy Theater Missile Defense Officer on the staff of the Commander in Chief, U. S. Central Command in Tampa, Florida. He also served at Commander Naval Forces Central Command and Commander 5th FLeet staff in Manama, Bahrain in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. CDR Malloy subsequently reported to the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations lDirector, Surface Warfarej, where he assumed duties as Requirements Officer for the Littoral Combat Ship QLCSQ. In July 2004, CDR Malloy went back to sea and assumed duties as Commanding Officer USS PINCKNEY in San Diego, CA. EXECUTIVE OFFICER Lieutenant Commander JCE NADEAU UNITED STATES NAVY Lieutenant Commander Joe Nadeau is a 1993 graduate of University of San Diego. LCDR Nadeau's initial operational assignment was in USS THACH QFFG 43j as the Anti Submarine Warfare Officer and Navigator. As an Operations Officer he then had the priviledge to place the USS BLACK HAWK QMHC 585 into commisioned service. In addition he served as the Weapons Officer and Combat Systems Officer in USS Milius QDDG 691. Ashore, LCDR Nadeau has served as Safety and Enviromental Officer at Naval Special Warfare Center. His most recent shore assignment was at Commander Naval Surface forces as the Weapons Officer, Combat Systems Officer, and Maintenance Analyst. LCDR Nadeau earned a Masters of Business Administration from National University. His persnal awards include the Navy Commendation Medal lthree awardsl and the Navy Achievement Medal lthree awardsl.
