Y 1 I I I I I COMMAND MAsTER CHIEF ' ROBERT w. l.oNcwoRTH Born in Kokomo, Indiana and raised in Warsaw, Indiana, Master -Chief- I I Longworth enlisted into the Navy in May 1980. He co-mpleted Basic Training ln July 1980 and went on to attend Electronics Technician School, Nuclear Power School and Naval Nuclear Power Training Prototype. In 1986 he graduated academically at the top of his class at Electronic Technician C7 School In San Diego, California. He was an honor graduate from the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy in Newport, RI, in 2002. Master Chief Longworth served aboard the nuclear strike cruiser USS VIRGINIA ICGN 381 from 1986 to 1989 as Reactor Controls Division Leading Chief Petty Officer. He also served as Engineering Department Leading Chief aboard the nuclear cruiser USS SOUTH CAROLINA ICGN 371 from1993 to 1998. He has made five deployments to the North Atlantic, Baltic, Aegean and Mediterranean Sea, and made multiple patrols for Law Enforcement Operations and humanitarian relief.
