W. Key The local Quarterback Club, organized in September of 1952, is the largest benefactor of sports ' in Pilot Point. In fact, it was organized with that thought in mind. , This club, consisting of 108 members, is responsible for many improvements connected with sports for this school. It was they who purchased the new suits for the football squad. They aided the 1 pep squad in obtaining the concession stand and provided the new siding for the building. They erected 1 the public address sytem box and a member became the announcer at local games. N Besides selling tickets for the football games, erecting a cable to keep people off the playing field, l and taking up money at the gates, they sponsored the Harvest Carnival and topped their season of work with a banquet for the pep squad girls and football boys. They completed much work in those few months of football season. But they are working on new projects now.
