The Comet lineup proved to be strong in 1966. ff .D The Comet football team was by far the best team Pillsbury has ever known. X' A 4 Starting the season with a l4 to 6 vic- tory over Worthington College, the Comets were looking for big things when they met a far superior Midwest- ern team, who beat them 47 to 3. After the let-down against Midwestern, it took the Comets three more losses be- fore they got on top against Gustavus Adolphus, defeating them 14 to O.
