THE We are well aware of the fact that we have not arrived! consider myself to have fully grasped it even now. But I do with hands outstretched to whatever lies ahead, I go straight called by God in Christ. fPhilippians 3:13-14, B. Phillips maintain interest in physical improvements. There is need for and there is need for parking space for members at worship FUTURE! ! The Apostle Paul said, My brothers, I do not concentrate on this: I leave the past behind and for the goal - my reward, the honor of being Translationj Like many Christian churches, we more space for the Christian Education Program hours. This year, all facilities are redecorated. Moreover, there is desperate need for increase in staff to give adequate direction and guidance to a church with 1,000 members. But God expects us to take care of buildings and personnel as initial objectives. All of a congre- gation's energy cannot be spent on local buildings and property. We must do the Mission of the Church!! More and more the church must carry the gospel outside its walls into the community, the nation, and the world. We are the Body of Christ. The world is the field. Our efforts must affect the uttermost part of the earth. Thus to that end, we steadfastly set our faces. Our congregation is proud to approve the sending of Dr. and Mrs. Massey on the World Mission Tour which takes in the Burma Sesquicentennial, December 3, 1963 - ,lan- uary 18, 1964. We want our pastor's first-hand report on the Christian work in Copenhagen, Moscow, South In- dia, Burma, Thailand, Hong Kong, the Philippines, japan, and Honolulu. We have resolved to assume our share of responsibilities of the Christian church in a troubled world. We feel that we are a grown-up church. Our ambition is the true goal of the spiritually adult. The Apostle Paul put it, All of us who are spiritual- ly adult should set ourselves this sort of ambition, and if at present you cannot see this, yet you will find that this is the attitude which God is leading you to adopt. It is important that we go forward in the light of such truth as we have ourselves attained to. QPhilippians 3:15, 16, J. B. Phillips Translationj God be merciful unto us, and bless us, and cause His face to shine upon us, that Thy way may be known upon earth, Thy saving health among all nations. Amen. QPsalms 67:1, 2.j
