DEAN HOOVER DEAN DAMRON The unique function of the small church-related college is not only to give instruction in academic subjects, but to give the kind of training in moral and spiritual values that are difficult to attain on a large college or university campus. Pikeville College is small enough that it can give individual attention to the student in the classroom and in the various campus activities. It is our sincere hope that as students receive their degrees from this college that they will be better citizens in the communities in which they make their homes because they attended a college that not only had an academic emphasis, but tried to develop the spiritual and moral values of life as well.
