Education forms the common mind, just as the twig is bent, the tree ' s inclined. College is the time when we decide what we are going to make of our lives. This time, above all others, is the time when we need someone ' s help and guidance. These are our wonderful faculty members who have been both helpers and friends. These are the people who give us the spirit with which we sing our ALAAA MATER Gather ' round, ye loyal schoolmates; Lift each voice till echoes ring. Loudly praise our Alma Mater; ' Tis of Pikeville C we sing. And in deepest care or sorrow; Should we pause to think of thee; Strong our hearts once more. As in days of yore.
