The Thrill Victor Spectacular can only describe this year's Varsity Wres- tling team. Their optimistic attitude led them to a winning season - the best ever acclaimed to the Panthers. lt was for this reason that they received strong support from the spectators. After a disheartening defeat by Catonsville and Milford, Coach Boushell, through hard work and a deter- mined attitude brought his team back to victory. The Pan- thers gained respect and confidence by ending up second in the Conference. In post season accomplishment, Dave Reamer represented Pikesville and successfully ended third in the state. This victorious season brings optimistic hopes for Pikesville wrestling in the future. Bobby Salganik anticipates the beginning of the second period VARSITY WRESTLING: 7st row- W. Orlove, 1. Wendy Galinn drives past her opponent. inless Season Dribbles By This year's Girls' Varsity Basketball team was unable to post any victories as they suffered through a long and dis- appointing season Despite the strenuous practices, it seemed apparent that a lot of outside individual work was needed Coach Price cited the lack of previous years' playing experience on a competitive team by several play- ers as the squad s major problem. The 1 V cagers exhibited a total team effort and gained much knowledge of the sport this year. The team was only able to achieve two victories throughout the season although several games were very close. However, Coach Holzberg felt that their record was not at all indicative of the players abilities GIRLS' l.V. BASKETBALL: 7st row - N. Greenebaum lMgr.l, A. Goldberg Uvtgrj, D. Solomon lMgr.J, L.
