Political Connections President Nixon and the Watergate scandal, Vice Presi- dent Agnew's resignation, and the Arab Israeli War were only a few of the controversial matters discussed by the 1973-74 Political Club. The overwhelming membership this year in the Political Club, stated President Glenn Weinberg, can best be attributed to the immense impact that the current political situation has had on the students as well as their complete faith in our club's leadership. Speakers for the year ranged from Lt. Cmdr. Henrikson of the john Birch Society to an expert on the john Kennedy assassination. In addition, the PTSA, under Political Club leadership, sponsored a debate on the legalization of mari- juana. ABOVE RIGHT: Political Club mem- bers question the relevancy of a political issue. Elementary, my dear Watson. lt's A Myster Science, philosophy, and an interest in the detective's techniques brought students together to form the new cri- minology club. The club members analyzed cases both current and past, real and imaginary. They contacted news- papers, detective agencies, the police, lawyers, the F.B.I., and prison officials to acquire a better understanding of the study of criminology. President Amy Fribush and Vice President Laurie Winer arranged for field trips and speak- ers to help them in their study. CRIMINOLOGY CLUB: 7st row-A. Fribushg 2nd row - 1. Kilberg, M. Rosenthal, C.
