'wx Nzguuuw Q M8811 Low lights and soft music added a ramantic atmos- phere for long gowned, beieweled beauties and their dates at the 1967 Prom. Providing music for the event held on May 6, at the Indianapolis Athletic Club, was the Phil Marshall Orchestra. Highlighting the dance was the Coronation of Sue Palmer and Craig Sears as King and Queen of the occasion. Despite the late hour and the pouring rain, seniors headed for the bowling alley and the traditional post-prom party. Besides bowling, pool and eating were the most popular amusements. Post-post prom breakfasts were held by several individuals making the affair an all-night ordeal. Rolling down or up hills and slapping through the mud were iust some of the pastimes enioyed by seniors and juniors the following Sunday at Turkey Run, McCormick's Creek and other state parks. As was predicted there was a very long absentee list the following Monday. . :I -' ' -L, H' X, . is , ,. , ,. rsis , ' 4 ff Left: Queen Sue Palmer and King Craig Sears lead the Corona- tion Dance.
