Renoto Tciionq, 1967 AFS student, from Como, ltcily, quickly settled into the routine of school life ot Pike. He lived with the VV. L. Pottenger fomily ond studied with Lorry. Renny, like most seniors found LR. required hours of study ond wos intrigued by science subjects. He showed his othletic obility while portici- poting on the swimming teom this yeor. When the pressures of school were on, Renny sometimes relaxed by cooking or by listening to music on the rodio-ci good com- mon interest shored with Lcirry who hos long been the school's chief drum enthusiost. Of course, thoughts often wondered bock to ltoly ond his porents ond four older broth- ers ond sisters. As mony other students tried to decide their futures ond vocotionol choices, Renny hoped to enter his fother's business. Perhops the highest compliment Pike con poy Renny is thot he so quickly ond smoothly fit into the school scheme of offoirs thot one often forgot he hodn't been cz life-time no- tive of the community.
