Foreword THIS IS YOUR LIFE, Pike Student During the years that you spend in obtaining an education, the majority of your time is spent in school work or activities. The way in which you use this time will help determine your future. The classes are preparing you for any occupation that you may enter and your activities are giving you experience in the even more important social field -- that of understanding and working with other people. It is your duty to yourself and to your country to make the most of these opportunities that have been set before you. It is the hope of the staff of the 1957 Pike's Peek that, through the modern medium of tele- vision, we can reconstruct the 1956-1957 school year and help you retain the joys - and sorrows - of an important year of your life.
