For many years the spirit of the mighty panther has been stalking through the halls of Delta Hi. His strategy, agility and endurance follow our students in their athletic ac-tivifies. His tenacity and perserverance lead many of our students to high levels of intellectual attainment. His courage and fearlessness characterize the dauntless leadership of the officers of oil school organizations. His competitive spirit is evident in the sportsmonlike behavior of our athletes. This, in brief, is the panther spirit. 28 Vorsity Foorboll Cheerleoders: Bottom Row — Kelly Holes. Korlo Bell. Lori Creps. Middle Row — Llso Stlriz. Michelle Reckner. Top Row — Wendy Shumoker. This year's Senior class had the privelage of being one of the smallest classes to graduate from Delta for many years. This year's Seniors proved that being bigger is not always best. There are a lor of memorable moments that happened this year that we will treasure throughout our years. Some things that come to mind are winning the hall decorating during Homecoming Week, having an almost rained out football season, Brian Bronson winning Homecoming Queen during Spirit Week, mock trials in Government, the words Wabash” ond Shazam” from Mrs. Rollins 8th period English doss, Rick Sfiriz’s Senior party, getting our of school eorly, our Senior closs trip, ond graduation. Our Seniors’ future looks extremely bright since 68% of the doss has chosen to go on for further education. There were many Seniors who were awarded scholarships, which will help them financially. The future looks very promising ond rewording for this year's Senior closs.
