SENIOR CLASS PLAY ROW 1: Carol Billings, Betty Schmidlin, Mary Jo Reichert, Kay Thompson, Betty Szabo. ROW 2: Harold Smith, Carol Jean LaSalle, Richard Gillespie, Pete Klein, Diana Hunt, Mrs. Shaver. THREE BLIND DATES Katy Ellis is fed up with Helen Woods' eternal bragging about her brother's popularity and social graces. Where the shoe really pinches is that Katy's brother, George, is about the most unsocial chap alive. Completely absorbed in scientific experiments George, away for his first year of college is as indifferent to women as an iron post is to BB shot. Wth a perseverance born of despair, Katy lays her plans for George's summer vacation at home. She spreads the news among her girl acquaintances that George has undergone a miraculous change in attitude towards girls, has, in fact, become a man-about-town. To set the stage for George's triumphal return, Katy--with the help of three eager con- federates, Ada Clark, Cora Ridgely, and Tessie Adams--gives George's colorless room the college treatment in a big way. Athletic equipment, girls' pictures, and Dave Ellis's pipes iDave is George's fatherj give the room a mannish air. Deep down Katy is afraid George will revolt against her plan and prove once again what a dim bulb he is. George arrives, with his colleague , Neil Olson, pale and purposeful. He is off on an important secret formula that must be figured out. They practically take over the Ellis house with chemicals and secret codes. Cora Ridgely discovers that George's secret formula is only flea powder. Janet Smith discloses that fact that he has three dogs at home so George under the pretense of checking the dogs for fleas agrees to take Janet to the Country Club Dance.
