This year they set their magazine sales goal at 3900, and with much work and diligence, they went over the top with 3985. Daryl Kleck was the high salesman with 319850. They were equally successful with the next magazine sale, too! The Sophomores also gave ri party for the winning team in the sales.

Mrs. Mack directed the play. She did a very excellent job and, to the satisfaction of all, the play was a great success. The story is more than an ordinary one. Jeff struggles to start a prac- tice in architecture and to keep order in a house beset by two lovesick teens, lYes and Carol, and a pre-teen football fanatic, Hyacinth. Lenore, heiress to a fortune, plans to ensnare jeff by discouraging his other client, Mrs. Trilnmer. But Hy and Peggy, the efficient housekeeper, upset l.enore's plans and saved the vday. Hy wins her football game, Wles gets his girl, Eve, Carol wins a prize in her contest, Jeff keeps Mrs. Trini- n1er's contract and Peggy captures jeff. The first thing the Freshmen did was to throw rt big shindig to get acquainted. That was the Freshman Get Acquainted Party on October 5. Concessions required a great deal of work from the Freshmen, and they all worked well.
