The captains of the Senior teams Were: Ellen Levy, Betsy Howard, Sally Cordrey, and Sally Pyle. The girls on the winning team receive numeral points. These points are combined with those from the other activities and are totaled at the end of the year. The Girls? Leader Corps each year takes part in the Senior Reception, gives an annual baby party, sells refreshments at the games and dances, helps with the physical education classes, and holds try-outs for new members. Every Monday and Wednesday afternoon for a month and half over 40 Senior girls braved the weather to play. Competition was close between Senior Navy, Senior Garnet and Senior Stripe. 6405 Senior Garnet, captained by Susan Klein, Won their 100-point letters by defeating Kay Ramsay's Senior Stripe team. Beside ushering at the basket- ball games and assisting coaches whenever possible, this yearls club put on a Varsity Club Nightg the proceeds from this event went to the Student Fund. The group also presented a skit on Senior Morning. Under the sponsorship of Mr. Aaron J. Warner. these boys collected tickets at the games and acted as ushers at the Thanksgiv- ing Day game.
