This year's club gave a performance for the Golden Age Club of a local church. The members also pre- sented an assembly. In all great arts, as in trees, it is the height that charms us. Every year, this group, which is sponsored by Mrs. Virginia Bowman, participates in the Senior Reception, the Christmas Assembly, and Gym Night. The members also present a spring assembly.

The first, entitled 'gThe Old Lady Shows Her Medalsf' was given on December 12, 1958g the second, a school-time comedy was given on March 6, 1959. The club represented the school at the Delaware Play Festival with the second performance of 'LThe Old Lady Shows Her Medalsf' On April 17 and 18, 1959, the club presented their annual three-act play, called c'Uncertain Wings.

The cast, supported by numerous, efficient planning com- mittees, turned in a fine performance. Playing to near capacity audiences both Thursday and Saturday nights, January the twenty-fifth and twenty-seventh, c'Beauty and the Beefw was a financial success. The play centered around the lives of various members of the Allen family, the antics of one Ginny Allen to be specific, and her efforts to delay a long-awaited football battle between her team.
