S. seemed to many of us who entered in our sophomore year! Miss Alice E. Gardiner, our class sponsor, helped us with our Sophomore Reception for parents, teachers, and students. Our tenth grade class party with good entertainment, and refreshments was a huge success. Spring soon came, and we found ourselves sponsoring the annual Memorial Day Assembly. Our class officers were: Howard Hudson, Judy Langlcammerer, Sandra Poole, and Richard MeElmoyle. JUNIOR YEAR l The first semester was led by Howard Hudson, Judy Langkammerer, J Dorothy Wilson, and Richard McElmoyle, who conducted the annual Thanksgiving Day Assembly. In January our class produced the first Junior play in the history of the school. In the spring many honors came to our class: Daniel Ballbach repre- sented us at Boys' Stateg Patricia Said and Margaret Whitworth repre- sented us at Girls' Stateg Daniel Ballbach received both the Harvard Book Award and the Wally Wroten Trophy. Elizabeth Belden and Dana Downing were selected as American Field Service Candidates to Europe. SENIOR YEAR In our class this year we were pleased to have Hinnerk Brandi, Almut Stenger, and Jurgen Thewes, as exchange students from Germany. I In the fall we presented a successful Senior Reception for our parents, and teachers. Our class officers were Douglas Watson, Cecile Shames, Margaret Whitworth, and Howard Hudson. When college boards and mid years were behind us, we found it was time for our tree planting ceremony and our crazy senior morning assembly. Our prom and commencement ended our high school careers and made a good beginning for us up the 'gtree of lifef,
