Mr. Edward Mr. Robert Miss Rose Miss Marjorie Lekites Massaferi MUFPIIY Booker I I 0 g Safe driving techniques learned in the drivers, educa- tion classes at P. S. duPont have equipped a number of our students for the hazards of the road. This safety and skill in handling a motor vehicle will be of continued use as we become adults. The graduating class was in- deed fortunate to have a fine drivers, education program. The library and its fine staff were at the constant disposal of the senior class. The excellent collection of books makes the P. S. duPont Library one of the finest in the Wihriington Public School System. Seniors have used the library for enjoyment as well as for assign- ments. The experience gained in the use of the library will be of great value to this graduating class in daily life and higher education. 4 The main task of the Guidance Department is helping students to help themselves. This is done by advising students in selection of subjects and supplying them with college and vocational information. Other responsibilities include helping new students adjust to their surroundings, holding interviews with pupils and parents, and conducting testing programs and interpreting the results. The students are indeed indebted to the counselors. 'GT' Mr. Robert Martin Mrs. Jeanette McDonnal Miss Thelma Shellender Miss Marie Yevak Mrs. Amy Farrand Miss Alice Gardiner Miss Ruth Green
