DEROOS 80 MUSICIANS MAKE UP THE PIERRE HIGH SCHOOL BAND In addition to forming an 80-piece band, the ln- strumentallsts from smaller groups - a pep band of 40 pieces, a stunt band, and several ensembles - were to provide entertainment at athletic events and other occasions. on April fourth and fl fth of this year, the band took part ln the state-regional music contest at mbrldge. The band entered ensembles. Shortly before the end of the school year the band presented its annual concert of the music on which It had worked during the year. Classical music, marches and popular numbers were featured.
