A keen and deliberate thinker, his integrity and sincereness of pur- pose have made him an easy and likeable person to work with. His main interest is musicg not only does he sing, but is able to play several instruments. Ed will be remembered by his classmates for his musical ability and his pleasing personality. BURON LINDBLIOOM Lindy's contagious laugh, and love of life made his classmates glad to have him around. His main interests, football, basketball, track, and playing the drums did not keep him from being an honor student. He is also an asset to any social gathering. Wherever he goes and whatever he does, Lindy carries with him the attri- butes that make for a well-liked and cherished friend.

She was presented with the Good Citizenship Award and is an associate editor of the Gumbo. Shirl was very success- ful in declam and is a member of the high school band and choir. VVherever she goes she'll make out, for given a minute-she makes a friend. RUTH KEMI I'ER All through her school years, Ruth has possessed qualities of leadership, respect, and admiration, As a representative of Girls' State, she was given the oppor- tunity to go to Washington, D. C. In Pierre High she has held numerous responsible positions and has parti- cipated in such activities as debate, declam, and choir. She is an associate editor of the Gumbo. As Governor of Hoys' State and mayor of Pierre High during the second semester, he demonstrated his ability and co- operative spirit advantageously. His favorite sport is basketball, having been a definite asset to the team. His common sense, sincerity, and earnest determination will distinguish him in any chosen work. BERNARD OLSON As captain of our football team, Bunk displayed the same spirit, loyalty ,and good judgment that make him popular with all whom he comes in contact.
