Although handi- capped by a bad knee, Junior just could not stay away from his greatest love, athletics. Determined in his future profession, he cannot help but reach his goal in life. VVINIFRED RUSSELL Freddie entered Pierre High as a junior and in no time found herself in the midst of an eager group of students asking for advice and leadership. Unselfishly she has given much time and effort as make-up editor of the Gumbo, She was chosen by the students as an attendant to our Minneshosho queen. She excelled in declam. RUTH KEMI I'ER All through her school years, Ruth has possessed qualities of leadership, respect, and admiration, As a representative of Girls' State, she was given the oppor- tunity to go to Washington, D. C. In Pierre High she has held numerous responsible positions and has parti- cipated in such activities as debate, declam, and choir. She is an associate editor of the Gumbo.
