Class Prophecy lt's been a long time since the 59ers graduated, almost ten years. lt's been quite a while since l've seen all my classmates. I'm going on a trip to France by T. W. A. Airlines. Ohl By the way, l'm DAVE BERNARDEZ, known as the happy wanderer, because I haven't found the right girl yet and I haven't settled In any one place. When I boarded the plane, much to my surprise, the stewardess was PAT HOUSEL, one of my old classmates. Pat told me that she and the pilot are planning to be married soon. That will end her career, because as you know, a stewardess must be single. The plane next stopped at Kansas City where two more of our former classmates boarded the plane. RICHARD WILLIAMS, still a bachelor, was on his way to an engineering job in New York. Richard has dozens of pretty girls after hlm, but he thinks they're only after his money. And LINDA LAWRENCE who went to business school in Kansas City. Linda was on her way to her first real iob in an I. B. M. plant in New York. She is engaged and plans to marry soon. Her future plans include two children. I Linda told us about some of our other classmates that have kept in touch with ' her. The first was CAROL THOMAS who went to college and now teaches in the beauti- ful new school that was built in our home town, Pierpont. Carol is engaged to a wonder- ful man and plans to be married within the next year. ALICE MANN, like Carol, became a teacher after getting her degree at Olivet College. She is teaching in Pierpont now and is looking for the right person to alter her plans for the future. CAROL BROWN has a iob in an office building in Youngstown as aComptometer Operator. Carol was always the shy one in our class. She never met the right one so she is still single. MARY ALLEN after graduating in May left for California to become an Airline Hostess. The plane was now coming in for a landing at the Cleveland Airport. Here we saw two more of our old classmates. CAROL SPEER told us she went to business school and is now o secretary for a very promising young lawyer here in Cleveland. She is married to her boss and they now have four lovely children. DIANE WILCHER said she went to Cosmetology School and now operates her own shop in her home. She finally married the boy she had a crush on ln high school and they have five very wonderful children. Diane and Carol told us about the classmates that they had seen recently. DAVID MARCY had started a Real Estate Business of his own and is doing very well. He married Connie and has two lovely children. BARRY PINKNEY went into the Air Force right after graduation for four years. He returned to start a cattle business. Barry married and now has three children. RUSSELL SMEGAL became a mechanic after serving four years in the Air Force. Russell is planning to marry and have a house full of children. DICK CAMPBELL married a very sweet girl from Pierpont before he went into the army. When he returned he built his own home and now owns a big dairy farm. JOHN MOKRI, un- believably, became an explorer of space. He became the first man to explore the planets. John hasn't found the right girl yet, but is still looking for her. The plane made a five hour stop at Cleveland to make repairs so all of us decided to .go see a fonner classmate of ours, Mary Jane Partch Wiser, who quit school to marry Raymond. They moved to Cleveland where they are still living with their two lovely children. 43'
