Linden Boggs Christine Sellers . . . Mr. Stouffer This past year has contained many ejqperlences which the seniors of 1960 will remember. The range of activities from schoolwork, to sports and freshman initiation, will each be a fond memory to the graduating class. Soon after the beginning of school. Linden Boggs was elected class president. Bill Schaller was vice- president, Christine Sellers was secretary, and Janet Danner became treasurer, with Miss Yontz and Mr. Stouffer as sponsors. A long to be remembered activity in the fall was the traditional freshman initiation with the seniors in charge of it. Also in the fall, they presented their second class play, a comedy entitled, “Class Ring.” Also in the way of extra-curricular activities, several outstanding athletes were produced from the graduating class. During the basketball season, Christine Sellers’ reign as Basketball Queen came to a close with the crowning of the new queen. Another honor was bestowed on the class wh t Mary Lou Jones was selected by the student body to represait Plerceton at the Mermaid FestivaL A never to be forgotten memory will be the senior trip to New York and Washington D, C, As to tradition, this marks the end of twelve years of school work, and service to the school. When plans for Baccalaureate and Commencement were being made, the seniors chose silver and red to represent them, and also, they selected the red rose to be their class flower. As years pass, the graduating class of 1960 will long remember their class motto, “The first st is all the difficulty.”
