TREASURER The freshmen started their school year by electing officers. Those elected were the ones pictured above. ,T on Parker and Paul Warner were elected to represent their class in the Student Council. The freshmens' sponsor was Mr. Tucker. The freshmen will remember October 10 for a long time. On this day the high and mighty seniors initiated the freshmen. Under the senior boys' orders to dress like girls, the freshman boys came to SChO01 wearing VCFY short skirts, hose, boots, hats, and carrying purses. Under the senior girls' orders, the freshman girls came to school dressed in style by wearing sack dresses fmade of genuine gunny sacksjg a boot and nylon on one footg necklaces made of such things as ti.n cans, garlic, onion rings, and feathers. Their hair was also faShi0naBQ styled by having a minirnurn of 20 pigtails tied with shoestrings. The A11-3911001 party that night was a climax to the all-day affair as the seniors resumed their authority. Representing the freshmen in the Basketball Queen's court was Janet Crouch. Janet wore a beautiful green net formal, The second semester class party was held onMay 7 at Bob Danner's. A wiener roast and dancing were enjoyed by the class.
