March 6 - The teacher's of Kos- cuisko county enjoyed a tasty meal of fish and chicken at the annual teacher's fish fry held at Syra- cuse. Jack's Xylophone Band pro- vided the entertainment. March 23 - Eleven students partic- ipated in the County Speech Festi- val. March 27 - Jim Warner served as host to the FTA'ers. Earl Craven from Taylor University enlightened the members on campus life at Tay- lor. April 7 - A high excellent rating was awarded the band at state con- test. This is the first year that the band has ever advanced as far as the state contest. Shown below is the high school mixed chorus which received a good rating at district contest. April 9 - The kindergarten. under the direction of Mrs. Howari Book, furnished the entertainment for the PTA meeting. . ' ,NL ffifff' i X April 12-13 - The juniors presen- ted DON'T TAKE MY PENNY, a roll- icking comedy starring 17 members of the class. April 19 - A progressive supper was enjoyed by the members of the FHA. ,Q- 2-I . April 20 - SOO band students took part in the county band festival. A practice session was held in the afternoon and the concert that evening. April 21 - A penny supper, spon- sored by the Band Boosters was held in order to raise money for the new choir robes. The musical depart- ment provided the entertainment for the evening. April 2h - George Salen, repre- senting Purdue, served as speaker for the FTA meeting held at the home of Judy Stouffer.
