I A ADMINISTRATION Tweniy-six years ago Mr. Harry W. Jones came To Piedmonl High School, which was +hen a small ins'ri+u+ion of some fwo hundred sludenls housed in shaclcs and lenis. During lhe period of Jrime Thai he has been associ- ared wilh lrhe schools ol Piedmonf as super- in+enden+ and as principal of ihe high school, he has been a cons+ruc+ive leader and organ- izer, having compleled an ambiiious building program for lhe senior and iunior high schools and'for lhe lhree elemenfary schools. A lrue friend oi Jrhe young people, and one wifh enlhusiasm for youfh and ils problems, he has always been inieresied in eslablishing high ideals. Scholaslic slandards, sludeni gov- ernmenl, honor socieries, school publicaiions, awards for achievemenls, culiural afiainmenis in arf, music, and drama-fhese are only a iew of 'rhe acliviiies which, as principal of fhe high school, he has loslered.
