Dedication We, the yearbook staff of 53 take great pride in dedicating the Seventh Volume of the BOB CAT’S MEOW to our hard working faculty. With this group, our school has made the most rapid progress in its history. Because of the high standards they hold, the many improve- ments we have have been made available to us Most of these teachers have been with us at least six years. We feel they are worthy of the honor of having this book dedicated to them. Class Colors BLUE AND GOLD Emblem BOB CAT School Song Once again we as schoolmates assemble; We fain would lift our hearts in song. To our high school, our dear alma mater, Let gladness the moments prolong. We are proud of our lads and our lasses. Of honors won in days gone by. So here’s a cheer for our old high school, For our old high school, our dear old high- Soon for us will our school days be ended, The dreams of youth that fade so fast. But we know that our hearts oft will ponder, In memory o’er scenes that are past. There are joys that will long be remembered, And friendships, too, that n’er can die. So here's a cheer for our old high school, For our old high school, our dear old high. Chorus: Here’s to our classes, here's to our lasses, Here's to the lads they adore. Here’s to the Seniors so mighty, Juniors so flighty, Freshies and Sophomores. Let mirth and gladness banish all sadness, And as the days go by, You’ll find us ready and steady, Boosting for our old high.

Foreword This yearbook was designed and printed with you. the students in mind. We, of the 1953 Bobcat’s Meow staff have tried to present all phases of school life in a most vivid manner, with prejudice toward none. If this book helps to bring you happiness in the years and decades to come, then our task has been a success- We, of the staff, want to thank each and every student that helped make this book what it is a success or a failure, that is up to the individual student to decide- The staff mem- bers have merely done what they think was the right thing in co-operation with our sponsor Mrs. Pyles. We especially want to thank our loyal advertisers who have played a tremendous part in the making of this book, for without their support, such a project would have been in vain. We especially want to thank our loyal advertisers who have played a tremendous part in the making of this book, for without their support such a project would have been in vain. Many tedious hours of eye-straining labor have gone into the binding and pages of this book, but for such an excellent student body, nothing can be too good. Again we say thanks a million, and many happy returns of the day.
