Embedded deep in the hearts of each member, there is a memory of social con- tact and literary value the society has given to her. With a deep devotion for Theta Zeta Phi, the members form ties of closest friendships and hold high the name and fame of the society. Treasurer Clyde Smith The Protroiman Literary Society completed its forty-second year with definite growth , both in number of members, and as re- gards development of the members, individually and collectively. Weekly meetings, with their objectives the development of pro- ficiency in and appreciation of literary traits, have been enjoyed. The association of the members, and the co-operation and social par- ticipation demanded by the Society have impressed on the members the advantages of the Society. Much of the success of the Society may be attributed to Miss Helen Jordan, our sponsor, and to Professor P. K. Carter, who directed our anniversary play, Nothing But the Truth. THE 193 9 YONAHIAN (20)
