Dedication We look upward for The Light, And while Piedmont sees several of these candles, But sometimes The Light is reflected on a face here below. There is one such face we hold dear: The bright flashing of some may blind us, It's on the face of a soft-spoken gentleman So we look for a soft, yet consistent glow. That we see the mirror of God's Son. We are attracted to the radiance of a caring smile, It is to Dr. Leonard Allred, The warmth found on a face so sincere. Look out Piedmont! Here we are! We'll get our keys and unload the car. Then it’s off to the dorm we go — A new home and roommate to know. A look around campus, is the gym for sale? No, just get the buckets and we'll start to bail. Some more arrivals h ave been here before. Is that the men’s Sr. R.A. standing by the door? Deeds Hall will become a familiar place. Now John, put a smile on that face! The faculty is understanding, and I’m sure you'll agree, It's going to be another great year, PBC!
