'.T'. in What has Piedmont contributed to your New Life? V Piedmont has been God's will for my life for tive years. Words cannot express my E A Z gratitude to the professors, to my fellow students and friends. My life is richer and better for being here. WAYNE WILLIS Piedmont has given me the necessary friends that have helped me to grow in the Lord's will for my life. SHELBY PETERS My growth in the Christian faith, my knowledge of God's Word and an awareness of Christ as never before can be attributed to the training I have received at Piedmont. DELORES ROBBINS Piedmont has greatly helped me in formulating my beliefs which will be the tools for the rest of my life. LAWRENCE SNEAD Piedmont has meant more to my Christian life than basic training means to a soldier. ALLAN HARMON 12 For the many blessed ways God has demonstrated His sovereign grace, power and love to me, in and out of the classroom, through friendships among faculty and students, I am grateful to Him for Piedmont. JULIE PIZZINO Piedmont has given me tools upon which God has placed his trademark. GEORGE WELLS Mr. Bowman: Piedmont greatly contributed in my growth as a young Christian, by giving me a Biblical philosophy of truth upon which a life could be built. QI Peter 2:21 Perhaps the greatest spiritual benefit for me has come from personal acquaintance with spiritually minded Christians and times of private fellowship. RUTH AUSTIN fi Mae' -C13 Among many contributions made in my Christian life by Piedmont, the one which stands out most in addition to helping ground me in the Word is a broadening perspective of people and their needs, all of which can be met in the One who has the power to transform any life. I John 5:11-12 Adminisirafion ...... 20 Academics ..... . . . 30 Crganizafions ....... 48 Classes ....... . . . 64 Feafures .... . . 112 17 One does not live the new life unless all areas of interest have as their center Jesus Christ. To know Him must be the aim of all academics. To please Him, the motivation of service. To find joy in Him, the purpose of any prosaic function of life. Alone in Him may we find value for living. When one fmds this intrinsic meaning in life it becomes clearly evident, for in all he does he manifests the person of Christ. The observer of the new life sees not that individual but Christ living in him. It is to such a one that we, the staff of 1969 wish to dedicateour FANAL. In professor Carl Bollinger we find one who expresses the ideals of the life in Christ. Above being a leader in academics and service he is a Christian gentleman. He is a leader to be followed, for first he is a follower of Christ. He is an inspiration to service for others because he exhibits the joy of the dedicated life. It is our pleasure indeed to commemorate him in this small way for all he means to us. Dedication 19 1 2 ,Q Q I.
