THANKS! And so Farewell to dear old Pickton School. As we look back over the years we remember when we first started our school career. In 1946, Molly, La Iuanda, Jerry, Wilbum, and Frankie started out in the first grade, We have traveled together for these twelve years. Gretta joined the class in the third grade and Sue came along in the fourth grade. Many others have come and gone, but we have stayed together. We have happy memories of our school years, and we wish to take this opportunity to say THANKS to Mrs. Ivey, our sponsor, and to all of the other teachers who have helped us along our way. THANKS also, to you, our parents, who have made many sacrifices, during these twelve years, to keep us in school.
