Superintendent’s Message It is with great pleasure that I commend the 1979-80 yearbook staff for their efforts in producing this excellent record of the past school year. Theirs has been a unique task: that of viewing objec- tively the school’s activities while at the same time participating in them. These young people and their faculty advisers have combined creative ability and a great degree of dedication in accomplishing the goals they set months ago. For their special efforts we are grate- ful. because in years to come the 1979-80 yearbook will only increase in its value to us. Like the yearbook staff, our faculty, staff and students throughout the parish have worked dili- gently to achieve their goals also. Significant progress is evident in our school system as we review past months, and I am pleased that we have met our challenges well. Our nation’s homes and schools are greatly responsible for America’s position of world leader- ship. As we enter a new decade, the 1980’s, let us take stock of our country's goals and prepare ourselves for even higher levels of proficiency and productivity. I wish for each of you much success.
