In Dedication Huel Johnson Mr. Huel Johnson was one of the 15 bus drivers who regarded his job as important as it truly is. Mr. Huel Johnson drove a bus for Pickering School from 1943-1975. Regardless of weather conditions or personal priorities, he could be depended on to do his job, faithfully. In Memoriam Patrick Jacob Stephens Mr. Patrick Jacob Stevens lived in Vernon Parish all of his life and attended Davis New School. He worked at Pickering High School as one of our efficient custodians several years and was still working at the time of his death, July 18, 1975. Mr. Stephens took great pride in keeping our building attractive and in tip-top shape. We were certainly honored and grateful to have had him with us. Have courage for the great sorrows of life and patience for the small ones, and when you have finished your daily task, go to sleep in peace . . . Victor Hugo
