She has given us inspired teaching that offered us knowledge; she has always been ready and willing to help us, and she has given unselfishly of her time and efforts to the promotion of the entire school pro- gram. In a very real sense, she has given us a blueprint upon which we can build as individuals. We know that Mrs. IDA STEPHENS will never lose her cheering smile and friendly way. The staff has worked long and hard on it, but we have learned much and have enjoyed the work. The staff could not have been more cooperative. I would like to thank Mrs. Dowden, Mr. Griffin, Mr. Holoway, and Mr. Stanly, our advisors, for all the assistance they have given us. Next, I would like to thank those who helped to sell the ads and the many businesses and individuals who bought ads. I am also grateful to Mr. Bradshaw and Mr. Stanly who have taken part of their time in order to compose messages for us to read and remember in later years. I appreciate the opportunity that I have had in serving my class and the school as Editor of the 1964 RED DEVIL, and I will always remember it as an honor and a privilege to have been selected for this job.  I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Pickering High School Yearbook Staff and the sponsors of the fine edition of the 1964 annual. A publication of this kind requires great planning and effort on the part of the people involved. This contribution to preserve the memories of your school activities will increase in value to oth- ers, as well as yourself, with each passing year.
