To The Students of Picher High School. Education, broadly interpreted, comprises all the efforts both direct and indirect, made by society to accomplish certain objectives that are considered desirable. These efforts may be put forth by organized society as a whole or by a smaller group such as a political party or a religious group. The goals, too, may be formulated either in the interest of society at large or by self seeking segments of society. The importance of education as an agency for modifying the behaviour of people has been increasing during the past few years. It is your job as a consumer of education to make sure that you are getting the most and best for your educational dollar by taking an active interest in your school and its progress. I congratulate you on the completion of a year of fine work. May all our future relations be as cordial and reward- in Patricia, seven, plays the piano and everybody sings at the Neighbor's.
