Sz, Mrs. Helen Sigle Treasurer Mrs. Dorothy Smith Secretary ,7, Mrs. Betty Foster President Mrs. Treva Camahan Vice-President The promotion of High School P.T.A.'s presents a challenge, and we have accepted that challenge. The High School P.T A. is as necessary as High Schools' are, and yet is is difficult to sustain the interest ofpar- ents when their children have made the transfer from the Elementary to the Secondary School level. Some parents feel their children no longer need them but we feelour interest in them at this time is more necessary than ever. Could we Challenge Parents to take more interest in this endeavor which in the end will pro- mote the most important object of our P.T.A., which is to promote the welfare of children and youth in Home, School, Church, and Community. ' - v :aaa 5 2 0 After two months of operating the Elementary and High School Cafeteria as a combined unit, we are both happy and pleased to be able to report that it has been a very successful undertaking. The increased participation on the part of the High School Students together with the decrease in cost of operation has enabled the School Hot Lunch Program, for the first time this year, to operate without using any of the allowable surplus which was carried over from last year. This successful change-over has been made with no appreciable loss of time for our first and second grades and no lost class time for the other four grades. Minor problems have been solved. The courtesy and con- sideration displayed by the high school students who use the grade school cafeteria facilities, is commend- able. Mrs. Ida Mae Cur1ee,Mrs. Mildred Carey, Mrs. Gertrude Nyberg, Mrs. Maude Wolsey. Our very efficient cooks.
