Bryan, li. Funk, 1. KEY CLUB 1959 The Key Club is a service club for the ukeyl' boys in Phoenixville Area High School. Its main purposes are to build character, to develop leadership, to serve the community and school, and to prepare members for useful citizenship. The members are selected with the approval of the principal and meet with his sanction under the sponsorship of the local Kiwanis Club. Some of the Key Club's many projects this year were parking cars at football and basketball games, selling bookcovers, holding after-the- game dances, assisting Mr. Mayberry for the District Band Concert. helping at Bloodmobile. taking charge of all stage operations for all functions in the P.A.H.S. A sidewalk cafe und inininture Eiftle Towers for each table were lenturedg iz red crepe paper ceiling and u large silver key hanging over the bandstand also decorated the P.A.H.S. gym. Everyone who at- tended remembers their evening in Parisu on February T, 1959. Chuperons galore! PAHS faculty members enjoy the Parisian evening.
