Phoenix Indian High School is an unique place. lt sits on a road that was named after it. It serves as the home for many students who could come from anywhere within the United States, but who seem to come predominantly from the Southwest. The school is a boarding schoolg it serves as home away from home. The school could even be cate- gorized as a small city within a larger city! High school is,a memorable time in a young person's life. Coming to P.I. can especially be a memorable, enlightening experience. Within the campus live as many as thirteen diiterent tribes. Students must learn how to interact with those of difterent cultures. Students also learn the lifestyle of a fast-paced metropolis. School is a great experience! For those that have taken advantage of their opportunities and talents, many rewards will be deservedly earned. R A I r E, P i 5 st Richard T. Redskin is the name for the school's newspaper and yearbook publica- tion. Students, who are interested in learning journal- ism and techniques connected with production of publication materials, are involved with the newspa- per or yearbook classes. The newspaper is distribut- ed on a bi-monthly basis. The yearbook is developed and organized throughout the year, and it is delivered in the spring.
