THE JUNIOR CLASS The Junior Class this year is man-powered by nearly two hundred students, making it the largest Junior Class in the history of the P. I. H. S. The class is headed by its President, Albert Sinquah; Vice-President, Ronald Jose; Secretary, Lorraine Riggs; and Treasurer, Harry Poleviyouma. Activities for the year included joint Junior Class Parties, plus the annual semi- formal January 19. Music for the dance was provided by the Carnations and in- cluded a limbo contest. The outstanding social of the year, and a first for the school was an off-campus Prom, April 19. The prom was held at the German American Society, Inc., in the foothills of Sunnyslope. Decorations for the prom included a night view of Phoenix city lights from the outdoor dance floor. Junior Class had many campus leaders. Melvin Mofsie, Willie Begay, and Norris Onsae contributed to the success of our basketball team. Robert Ammelyenah was chosen Junior Rotarian and Rose Taylor was Girl of the Month. A host of other Juniors gave leadership to clubs, dance orchestras and many other campus acti- vities. THE SPONSORS RUTH C. BLUNK FLORENCE A. COOK DON E. ELLIS CHARLES FEUERSTEIN CLYDE H.
