SENIOR CLASS WILL 3 ' ,, rg-Ad f It ' We, the Class of 1968 of Phoenix Central School, Village of Phoenix, Town of Schroeppel, County af Oswego, State of New York, being of sound mind and memory do hereby make, publish, and declare this to be our last will and testament, hereby revoking any will or wills heretofore made by US. First, we direct that all our iust debts and funeral expenses be fully paid and satisfied soon after our decease. Second, we give, devise, and bequeath unto each of the following these things: DANNY ANDREWS leaves his love for school to Nancy Staring who still has two more years to enjoy it. DIANE ARCADI leaves all the Phoenix boys to any girl who can stand them. VERNA BANDS leaves all her happy and sad times at old PCS to Cindy Bishop. BARBARA BARNARD leaves a great Senior year to all the Juniors. JOHN BARRIE leaves his place in the first cornet section to anyone who is able to play the music. DARLENE BECKLEY leaves all the teachers to Kathy Chittenden and Mike Greco, SUE BENOIT leaves with half the school-activity funds. PERRY BIANCAVILLA leaves with the other half of the school-activity funds which Sue couldn't get her hands on. JAMES BLAKE leaves his long hair to Coach. BRUCE BLANCHARD leaves the school lunches to the poor Juniors. TOM BOWERSOX leaves his electrical shop class to Mike Elhage. BILL BOWMAN leaves his incurable slice and an old Titlist to Jimmy Durr. NOREEN BROWN leaves a piece of gum on Mr. Gay's chair to help him stick to his work. SCOTT BROWN leaves bewilderment. SUE BROWN leaves, leaving five-plus Browns to follow. JOHN CASBARA leaves the hope of success to any other newcomer at PCS. DANA CLARY leaves to meet Joe at Moshier's. LYN CLAYCOMB leaves Phoenix Central at the mercy of her siblings, CAROLYN CLONCH leaves all the fun of PCS to Carol Percival. RICK CLOTHIER leaves this school and all the bewildered teachers to the Waldron clan. SUSAN CLOTHIER leaves Mike Czyz to Ann Cardinali for another year at PCS. PAUL COFFEY leaves English li to anyone who wants to suffer. BILL COOK leaves his ability to sneak ahead in the lunch line without getting caught to whoever is sneaky enough. BRUCE COVILLE leaves with a fistful of cookies and a broken heart. DOUG CRANER leaves his skill in math to anyone who doesn't plan to graduate. WARREN CURTIS leaves PCS to any class as great as ours. MIKE CZYZ leaves the locker room to anybody with no sense of smell. GARY DANN leaves his ability to get passports to anyone who can get as many as he did. KATHLEEN DE MARCO leaves Miss Kuehner to Nancy Schmidt and Jana Davis. NEIL DE VITA leaves this school and the teachers to Larry Clark-if he can take them. LARRY DOBSON leaves to the Juniors the pain of filling out all the Senior forms. LANCE DUELL leaves some of his height to Vick Bell who could use it. NICK DURR leaves his basketball uniform to Jim Walts and hopes he has better luck with it. MIKE EGGLESTON leaves with no complaint. CAROL ELY leaves Mr. Generous to Pat Guerin, who wasn't fortunate enough to have him three years for homeroom. PAULINE FARLING leaves her braces to anyone who needs straightening out. DAVID FELIX leaves his place on the library staff to anyone who thinks he can fill it. PAT FLEMING leaves her Senior activities to any girl who is in need of things to keep her busy while Uncle Sam has what kept her busy before. MIKE FORAN leaves his surfboard to anyone as coordinated as Bill Hutchinson or John Michels. JOHN FREDETTE leaves the ability to be late to anyone who wants it. DONNA GARDNER leaves Loralye Davis her alto chair in chorus, which she will use wisely. JEANNE GARRETT leaves her ability to walk without falling to Pat Guerin. ROSEANNE GIORDANELLA leaves Patty Sloan for Diane Boyle to take care of. BOB GOLDYCH leaves his ghost to haunt PCS. CATHY GOULD leaves the phone booth, which is usually out of order, to anyone who has the time and money to waste on it. JEAN GRABOWSKI leaves her big mouth to Jackie Di Salvo. LEE GUNN leaves Kathy Murtagh the ability to walk like a duck, so Brad will quack at someone else. MARILYN HOLDRIDGE leaves her slowness to anyone who can catch up with it. GARY HOWE leaves all the thrills of gym class to Steve. CONNIE HUBBARD leaves her dirty cheerleading sneakers to Val Schenck. CARROLL HUNTLEY leaves, hoping never to return. HELEN HUNTLEY leaves her new seat in the first clarinet row to anyone with the patience to wait four years. PAM INGHAM leaves her ability to speak before multitudes to anyone whose nerves are already too shot to have it faze him. CHERYL JESSOP leaves her ability to skip homeroom to anyone who thinks he can get away with it. JIMMY JONES leaves his position as Lambda Beta Psi Fraternity Presi- dent to whoever wants the cops chasing him during initiation. MARY ANNE JONES leaves a gym suit standing in her locker to her sis- ter Donna. BILL KENT leaves his motorbike to Coach Provost. JOANNE KENYON leaves the high school to her brother who she doubts will make it. SUE KENYON leaves behind some wonderful teachers to the under- classmen who don't appreciate them. SANDRA KLASE leaves the school and all her fond memories to her brother Jack. RAY KNICKERBOCKER leaves the talented Mr. Knowlton to anyone who wants him. MARSHA KORNBLUTH leaves her three art classes to anyone who likes multi-colored fingers.

I-usToRY .xii SENIURS On Moving-Up Day in 1967, the Class of 1968 took its place as one of the greatest SENIOR Classes ever to walk the halls of PCS. With another year of Tom Wat Sales, the Class found itself with enough money to pay for yearbooks for the entire classi The main activity was the Senior Ball, held on January 27, 1968 at Holiday Inn. Other activities included the Yearbook Dance and participation in the first Winter Wonderland. Many members of the Class received recognition for their abilities in academic work, activities and sports. Rosie Giordanella, Class President, served as Student Council President and Os- wego County Student Council President. Jack Casbara, Class Vice-President, was also SC Vice-President and Math Club President. Linda Misenko served as Secretary of both the Class and Student Council and was a cheerleader. Sue Benoit held the positions of Class Treasurer, Yearbook Treasurer, Band President, Honor Society President and Var- sity Cheermaster. The other two Student Council officers were members of the Class: Perry Biancavilla was Treasurer and Yearbook artist, Mike Czyz was Parliamentarian and Chorus President. Mary Murtagh, held the Key of Knowledge and received the DAR Good Citizenship Award. Bruce Coville won the Elk's Leadership Contest, and was a National Merit Semi-finalist. Other members of the Class were very hard working. Charlie Marks was History Club President, Betty Schlecht was Yearbook Editor, and Bob Williams led the German Club. Pat Fleming and Bev Sanchez were Co-Editors of the Firebird. Bob Goldych and Dana Clary shared honors as Co-Captains of the football team. Others who served on the team were Greg and Gary Hartranft, Nick Durr, Wayne Mor- ris, Reid Smith and Joe Sweeney. Bruce Coville and Warren Curtis were members of the cross country team. The basketball team was-led by Class members-Nick Durr, Dana Clary, Jim Jones, Reid Smith, Bob Williams and Cliff Roberts. The wrestling team in- cluded Greg Hartranft, Bob Goldych, Gary Hartranft and Bill Hutchinson. The year was rounded up with Sherry Vickery, Wayne Morris, and Joe Sweeney on the baseball team, Kevin Mack and Bob Williams on the tennis and Charlie Marks, Gary Howe, Mike Foran, and Bill Bowman on the golf team. Senior cheerleaders included Sue Benoit, Connie Hubbard, Linda Misenko, Brenda Starling, Carol Ely, Bev Sanchez, Noreen Brown and Janet Spencer. Several Members of the Class participated in All-State and All-County Music Activi- ties and many also received Regents Scholarships. All in all, the Class of 1968 has left many memories behind in the great halls of Phoenix Central and will always be thankful to all the teachers, expecially our advisors, and the members of the administration who have helped us achieve many goals. CHARLES MARKS leaves his ability to play golf and to get along with Mr. Patchen to Doug Richards, who really doesn't need either one. PATRICIA MARYINUK leaves Jo Ann Johnson to poor Mr. Smith who has to suffer with her for another year in band and lessons. HARRY MC KINNON leaves all his rubber marks in the parking lot to anyone who can match them. JOHN MICHELS leaves his drums to anybody with the ability to play them and a willingness to spend thirty minutes setting them up. JIM MIDDLETON leaves an empty gym locker to Coach Provost. BARBARA MILLER leaves gym and getting ahead in the lunch line to Wendy. DANNY MILLS leaves his seat on Bus 42 to Beverly Turk. CONNIE MINOTA leaves future happiness to her aunt, uncle and four cousins, which they deserve after so much sorrow. LINDA MISENKO leaves Marilyn Matzke to Mrs. Murtagh. WAYNE MORRIS leaves the locker room to anyone who can stand the laughter. MARY MURTAGH leaves her curly hair to Connie Williams, who really deserves it. FRANK MUSTER leaves anything worth having to Mr. Dix, because he needs it. JANICE NEVILLE leaves her gym class to her sister Joyce. PENNY PARKER leaves PCS and a certain class to Linda McKinnon. WILLIAM PENDERGAST leaves the garbage man any Ford he finds on the streets. GARRY PHINNEY leaves his white socks in his gym locker to anyone who wants to wash them. LARRY PHINNEY leaves his locker to anyone who wants it. NANCY POLCHLOPEK leaves three years of working for Mr. Cutro with fond memories of a great man and teacher. GORDON RENFREW leaves to grow his hair, beard and mustache. CLIFFORD ROBERTS leaves the school to his brother Jack, hoping he can handle it. STEVE ROZANSKI leaves the math teachers to anyone who thinks he can outsmart them. ERICK SALMONSEN leaves all that is good at PCS to Peg. LARRY SALVAGE leaves Phoenix to Steve and Chris. BEV SANCHEZ leaves as fast as she can to start her long iourney to Daytona Beach, Florida. LEIGH SCHENECK iust leaves. BETTY SCHLECHT leaves Mr. Charles a Math I2 class that, with luck, will get there on time. GARRY SCHOLES leaves his Pontiac to anyone who can handle it- which he doubts. CHRISTINE STAURING leaves PCS to all the underclassmen, and Bus 25 to future riders. LAUREEN STAURING leaves an overcrowded Bus 25 to any unfortunate soul who rides it. GERALD STEWART leaves all the teachers to the underclassmen. LYNN STOUTENGER leaves Liz to Miss Kuehner. MIKE STOUTENGER leaves a box of he-man tissues to Mr. Knowlton. JIM SUTTLES leaves Mr. Castiglione's position as principal to Mike Del Guidice. JOE SWEENEY leaves Patty Brown all the greatness of being a Senior, which she will undoubtedly use to the best of her ability. FRANCINE TAILLEFER leaves a certain underclassman to Pat Guerin only. RONALD THEOBALD leaves Mr. Provost to David Cromie. He deserves him. JUDITH TROMBLEY leaves to ioin Perry. PETER TURKOWSKI leaves his place on the golf team to anyone who can handle Coach Patchen. LYNDA TURNER leaves all the Phoenix teeny-boppers to Marcia Kerber, who loves every one of them. SHERRY VICKERY leaves his shelf in the band room closet to Mike Cri- safulli. GLORIA WALTS leaves electric typewriters for I.B.M. machines. RAY WELLER iust leaves. BOB WELLER leaves his ability to anyone who knows what it is. MILLIE WHEELER leaves her mouth to Vicki Balducci, who will use it to its fullest capacity. JANICE WIKOFF leaves all the cute girls in Phoenix to Mike Del Guidice. ASA WILLIAMS leaves his neglected homework to his cousin Bill Regan. BOB WILLIAMS leaves his tennis ability to Dean Alverson, who will surely need more than that to keep PCS out of the cellar next year.
