1 RESH MEN :P- The FRESHMAN CLASS of 1968 started out its year by forming an Activity Committee which has continued throughout the four years. The main activity of the class was the Winter Frolic Dance with music provided by the Monterays. Several members were inducted into National Junior Honor Society. These included Sue Benoit, Bruce Coville, Naomi Ely, Rosie Giordanella, Helen Huntley, Pam Ingham, Laura LaBarge, John Michels, Mary Murtagh, Betty Schlecht, Charles Smart and Sheridan Vickery. The class was well represented in many activities and sports. 5 lSOPHEMORES? 35 5 As SOPHOMORES, the Class held two dances- Spring Fever and Surf- ing Safari , which turned out to be two of the most successful dances of that year. Again school activities and sports saw the participation of many members of the Class. This was especially evident at Awards Day when many Sopho- mores received awards. i ns 33 l l l NATIONAL HQ? SOC? X 'I s 1 , 1 6 P is L5 When the Class of I968 became JUNIORS, the rest of the Student body really began to sit up and take notice. Early in the year, the Prom committee was set up with Pam Ingham and Perry Biancavilla as Co-chairmen. Under their capable leadership, the Prom- Maiestic Moonlight -turned out to be a tre- mendous success. Music was furnished by Sox Tiffault's Band and the decora- tions were simply beautiful. That year, the Class became very successful in the financial area. They held one dance, The Yearbook Dance and initiated the Tom Wat Plan. This provided the Class with funds that bulged the Class treasury to an all-time high. National Senior Honor Society inducted Sue Benoit, Bruce Coville, The Naomi Ely, Helen Huntley, Pam Ingham, Mary Murtagh, Betty Schlecht and Sheridan Vickery. These were to be followed by John Michels and JoAnn Ken- yon the following year. School activities found Juniors participating in every field and members of the class pushed many of the teams to victory. Perhaps the most important event of the year was the receipt of class rings.
