Robbie Lee 42 WINTER 1953 As the class of Winter i953 takes notice of its final semester at Banning, we look back at the years just completed. The fun of our senior activities, the sen- ior picnic, the talent show, the class play, Vesper Services, senior breakfast, and graduation will long be remembered as a few of the highlights in our life. Leaving Banning will be difficult, but we shall always keep with us the memories of our senior year. Many of us do not realize lust how fortunate we are to have had the privi- lege of attending Phineas Banning High School. Our faculty and administrators are tops, and our spirit and attitude are the backbone of the whole idea of good fellowship. lt was a pleasure, as well as a priv- ilege, to serve Banning as its Winter Student Body President. Banning came along gradually, with the Pilots losing three out of tour practice games. They were beaten by Los Angeles in the championship play-off, although they played like real champs. There were seven graduating seniors that played their last game for Banning, They are: Stan Richards, Captaing Ivan Schuler, Gene Dupree, Duane Schimp, Alfred Quebec, C-ene Watkins, Bob Miladinovich.
