Travis, President of Panorama Pictures, Inc., and needs no further intro- duction. Need I say that some of you would prefer no further introduc- tion? His able group of some fifty assistants falias teachersj you are already familiar with by reputation, at least, and possibly it were as well not to emphasize details. Anyway, the entire fifty will be out to meet you in a few minutes. In fact, four are here now. Betty Climie, who teaches school in her spare moments, is senior scenario Writer, and the little lady with the short brown bob, Margaret Lewerenz, is chief artist, responsible for design and color effects. Next, observe the gentleman now bowing, Who is no other than the master technician and printer, Guy Kingsbury. And. finally, to my left, stands the efficient head business manager, Herman P. Winn. Let me speak briefly about the directors-talented, experienced, young people they are-a staff with personality plus. There's just so much to tell about them I had better say a few words to you regarding each in turn as he appears upon the screen. Fortunately, while the actors can be seen and heard, they cannot hear what is said about them, so your introducer feels he may survive the occasion. But, a second, please, before I call the first staff member. You are wondering about the plot of the play. Well, all I need to say is that it is the story of 1929-1930 at Phineas Banning High School. The theme is Happiness. Oh, you want to know what happens ? I'll just let you find that out for yourselves, but I can promise thrills and triumphs, fun and laughter galore. Why, the play is simply chock-full and running over with exciting moments I And the cast is all-star, naturally. You'll recognize your favorites as they appear. Oh, yes, good people, just another moment before the picture begins. I, on behalf of the whole company, wish to extend sincerest appreciation to everyone who, through consideration, helpfulness, encouragement, and efiiciency, contributed to the undying glory and success of our great endeavor. The velvet curtains are already slipping back, the page is turning, and here comes everybody-the staff' first, followed by the President's fifty resistants. Meet them, folks. iTHkNf YOU Puge Snen
