Speaking of memzgef . . . The vernacular, slangs and idiomatic expressions grew to a sudden vividness. There was, Sock it to me, Keep the faith, Baby, I can dig it, Ring my chimesf, Do your thing, and Right on. Skirt lengths had their ups and downs on campus. Girls sported the maxi, midi, mini, and micro. Footwear was by no means to be ignored. Sandals for both formal and informal attire, Swedish clogs and crushed leather pumps dominated the footwear depart- ment. The girls wore their naturals while the boys wore their Afros.
