School Mourns Demise of Mr. Bradford MR. DAVID BRADFORD Social Science Instructor Director of Student Activities A great man has departed this world into a world of tranquility. We will miss him, but certain experiences we have shared with him and certain char- acteristics observed in him will never let us forgethhim. I can almost see him now telling one of his jokes while everyone holds his side with laughter. He had personality plus. He struck me as being quite frank and honest. Whatever he had on his mind he would let out spontaneously. Another of his traits was his lack of prejudice. He never singled out the smart from the not-so-smart or the thugs from the nices,' - everyone received the sympathetic, human touch of this great teacher. His unique teaching methods and his ability to establish rapport with his stu- dents made us look forward in gleeful anticipation to that time in our school career when we would be seniors so that we could sit in the shadow of Mr. Brad or Mr. Wheatley, as he was af- fectionately known to us. Our dear departed teacher's loyalty to Wheatley knew no bounds. MR. BRADFORD will always be remem- bered, loved and respected by all who knew him, particularly the thousands of students whose lives he touched and left richer by having known him.
